if you enjoyed inception, go watch paprika. inception completely stole the concept, and scenes.

Ishii's style is pretty off-the-wall and somewhat confusing, but the films are quite entertaining. If you liked it in anyway, check out some of his other movies.

The Taste of Tea en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Taste_of_Tea
My favourite.

Funky Forest www.imdb.com/title/tt0451829/
The weirdest.

Party 7 www.imdb.com/title/tt0267817/

And while not by Ishii, Survive Style 5+ is quite similar to his style, it also features Tadanobu Asano, but that's not saying a lot because he's in almost everything. Oh, Reika Hashimoto in this movie is coolcoolcool.

Did it really? I haven't seen Inception, but I had heard they weren't all that similar outside of the fact the people were entering dreams. Satoshi Kon's passing this summer was really unfortunate. I hope The Dream Machine does come out, because I'd love 'just one more' Satoshi Kon film.

First half of The Shining until the DVD decided to fuck up, reminds me of Shutter Island a bit.

just got back from unstoppable. I liked it but I could see why people won't, dialogue is pretty cheesy and some unnecessary characters.

Great movie, i enjoyed it. Unfortuntelly the trailer gives a way important infos. Look into it, if u like one of those coming-of-age movies. Based on a novel.
