Finally watched one of the Lupin the Third movies. The Castle of Cagliostro. It was great. You can tell it was directed by Miyazaki as well compared to the original series and other movies.

Staying on that artsy tip.

movies i watched/remember watching the past month

apocalypto - really good, dope action and gory 8/10

rise of the planet of the apes - enjoyed it, the apes were realistic as fuck, franco makes me laugh because it seemed like he was high 8/10

50/50 - cute movie, somewhat boring 7/10

american psycho - i thought this movie was funny as fuck, bales sarcasm was on point. boring at some scenes but overall a great watch 8.5/10

bridesmaids - brought some lols 7/10

drive - wasnt really payin attention so l0l. i need to watch it again

harold&kumar 3 - over done, wasn't really that funny 5/10

30 minutes or less - defenitely funnier thank harold&kumar thanks to Danny Mcbride, aziz sucks tho 7/10

midnight in paris - ok, would be better if i knew who the people he met were 6/10

requiem for a dream - 9/10, cant believe ive never seen it before

ides of march - i actually enjoyed it, clooney and gosling are dope 9/10

chronicle - maybe it was because i watched it after ides of march, but the acting sucked so hard. the kid just pissed me off, but the action scenes were done really well. 5/10

warriors - MEH, really slow in the beginning and action scenes were short. 7/10 (tom hardy is a really good actor)

devils double - 6/10 wasn't really feeling it, but i give props to the main actor, he played both roles perfectly.

tucker & dale vs evil - dry at first, but has a good plot and was surprisingly really funny 8/10

the descendants - clooney again, good family movie thats not too cheesy. 7/10 shailene woodley is on fucking point smokeyface

cowboys vs aliens - omg the worst fucking movie ive seen yet. ive never done shrooms before but i imagine it having the same effect as watching cowboys vs aliens, as in "what the fucking is going on"

contagion - had so much potential, they shouldve stuck with 1 or 2 main plot, but instead just shows different reactions to what people would do. 6/10

The Children's Hour. Love Audrey Hepburn in anything, she was definitely the highpoint of the film. Shirley MacLaine was gorgeous, and she acted her part fairly well. The play could have been adapted a bit better, but I think they spent most of their time making sure the film was 60s friendly, given that there was talk of lesbianism in the story. It would be neat to see how a test audience responded to a pre-screening of this film.

It's on Netflix, give it a shot. I'd say 6.5/10. If I gave it a 7, I'd be inflating purely because of my Hepburn love. Eff curves, 'bout that waif/gamine look all day.
