Just finished watching episode 4, and went through this thread right now; have you guys noticed the cinematography in the show? That's something I'm trying to notice while watching the rest of the season.

This scene was one of the best pieces of television I've ever watched, and it was all one continuous take:

Rust Cohle was a fucking ill character .. kinda sucks he wont be in the next season.

I searched google for some info on the transportation system/occult connection, but couldn't find shit .. sounds pretty interesting though, can't wait! cool

Really didn't like how they never got back to how Marty's kids had
apparently seen one of the cult videos or had witnessed one of the
ceremonies and tried to recreate it with their dolls(Episode 2). Really had me thinking Maggies father was in on it. But overall the finale and series as a whole was solid. Looking forward to seeing what they do next year.

They also never elaborated on the fact that Dora's mom had a picture of her with the five horsemen in her living room, one of which seems to be wearing that fluffy costume from the VHS tape.

They admitted there'd be loose ends when the season ended. A lot of stuff was cut for time and I think a lot of stuff was purposely left out as well.

I read somewhere there was going to be a scene that explained Errol was burned so badly as a child that he couldn't speak, so he taught himself using movies, which is why he uses accents (like when he comes in from outside and mimics North by Northwest). You hear his normal voice when he's talking to Rust in Carcosa.

i'm the best mayne, i deed it

Ah I thought the accents were just to insinuate how crazy the fuck was.

Damn, i fuck with Brad Pitt and i can definitely see him in this show! Last season kind of reminded me of the movie Se7en as well.  He's definitely a good fit! Is it official, or just speculation??

I read this as the girls recreating the scene of Chole's kids death pretty sure that was after he first met them, but you do have a point.
