Is anyone here a fan of that show? Most people think of it as just another comedy show, but I see it for much more than that. The show is a lot deeper than people think. I can relate to Huey Freeman a lot. The scene in which he cries in the episode entitled "The Passion of Reverend Ruckus" was one of the best TV moments I've ever seen.

I love the episode with the booty warrior.
That episode wasn't a typical episode of the show. Too much slapstick comedy for me in that one. That episode lacked a social/political message. I watch this show primarily for the messages. The comedy is just a bonus.

It's a great show, too bad the creator (Aaron McGruder) is a conspiracist wacko...

Can't wait for the next season. The comics are great too, especially if you read/watch for the social/political messages.

I wouldn't be surprised if there's an episode dealing with everything going on in Chicago this season since Huey and Riley are from South Side.

Aaron McGruder, creator and executive producer of The Boondocks, has
had no involvement with the upcoming fourth season of the cartoon, Adult
Swim confirms, fueling suspicions that began on Facebook, where
McGruder claimed The Boondocks page had been "hijacked."

According
to a press release issued by Adult Swim, "this season was produced
without the involvement of Aaron McGruder, when a mutually agreeable
production schedule could not be determined."

Yes! So happy this is coming back...some of the stuff I have been seeing on FB has been really edgy...this needed to happen. Hopefully some local Chicago stuff will be addressed, but I wouldn't count on it....hits too close to home and they could get canceled...Chicago is still an organized crime town. Not that there's anything wrong with that... heh heh...

really let down by the second half of the episode. It was just not offensive enough. Didnt take nearly enough shots at Chris Brown or the modern ratchet female.

As soon as i read that McGruder had no part in this season, i lost 80% of my interest ... I didn't even watch yet, but from what i've been hearing, this season is going to be a huge let down smh .. I've been waiting for a minute for this shit to come back and now I feel they should have just left it at season 3, insteasd of coming back without McGruder on board .. fucking lame :|

Just watched the 2 episodes of new season, and man, I am disappoint. Big time. But I guess we'll see what happens with the next couple of episodes. Hopefully it'll get better. But if you say that McGruder has nothing to do with this season, I don't know.
