Fuck a trailer came out? I thought this movie was dead. Im all for zombies and Pitt.
November 09, 2012 @ 02:42:00
Eh, even if it sucks. Brad Pitt is still that nigga.

shit reminds me of I Am Legend for some odd reason.
The CGI is very apparent here, but the zombie action looks very intense.

Thought the same exact thing. Could pass as a prequel to I Am Legend. Also, I never read the book, but people are telling me the movie is going to be very different.

i've read all the books and looking at this trailer brad & co haven't really followed anything max brooks wrote. just the main zombie apocalypse thing where the world goes ape shit. max described zombies as the good old slow, can't see shit zombies. looks like they made them become super humans in the movie with a strong influense from indian robot endhiran...

I read this on another forum:

"The filming of the movie was a disaster. It was so bad that in the end the studio and Brad Pitt decided to re-shoot whole sections of the film. The film the director had filmed was so bad they had a hard time narrowing down what parts to re-shoot. They decided to re-shoot major sections and then re-edit the entire movie. So much animosity surrounded the project that at times Brad Pitt refused to even speak to the director."

this movie has so much potential with the idea and premise, but all signs are pointing to a flop.

if the studio has any sense, it wont use much money to advertise. the only upside they have is brad pitt, but this movie was a disaster from the getgo and it shows

It's weird because Plan B is Brad Pitt's production company, so you wouldn't think that there would be so much turmoil surrounding this project.

Doesn't even look to resemble the plot of the book.

For those who don't know, WWZ is written as a series of interviews of people around the world who experienced the War. Zombies were slow, dumb, just hard to kill, sort of like the walking dead.

This isn't a WWZ movie, it's a zombie movie with the name WWZ
November 13, 2012 @ 19:15:07
Well I can kinda make out the Battle of Yonkers in the trailer.

Saw a special screening of the movie last night, I liked it.
CGI was not bad at all. Although there was a scene where they did not finish editing
and there were white blobs running around. But that will be fixed.
Brad Pitt was that dude of course.
It was my first time to a screening, shit was serious, a brigade of black escalades
and niggas in black suits, metal detectors and shit.
Pretty awesome experience, and best of all, it was free.

I went to see Olympus Has Fallen (Which I thought was wack) and outside the theater was a guy handing out screening passes. The movie remained a secret until showtime, I had a good feeling it was World War Z and was pretty hyped about it. He said they do it about 3 times a year for certain movies in select theaters. Movies do it to see how an audience takes the movie and gets feedback before the movie comes out. If you ever get these passes, go EARLY. Theater was packed, I sat about four rows from the screen.

lol is that the end of that story? how was the film?

also i just watched 28 weeks later for the first time and i feel like this'll be the hunger games to that film's battle royale. i'm interestedmostly cos most zombie films don't focus on the outbreak itself

personally I enjoyed it, the music/background music/noises were on point.
Brad Pitt did his thing, zombies looked crazy, I really enjoyed the beginning action scenes.
excuse my vagueness of details, I don't want to spoil anything for you guys.. lol.
So far, my favorite movie that I've seen this year. but of course, the year is still early.
It felt like a solid movie.
Haven't read the book, but now I want to. & I'm not much of a reader.
