Yeah can't wait for this. Trailer also made me realize that Tom Hanks and Channing Tatum look similar.

The Wachowski bros....well now that one got a sex change I guess they'll go by Wachowski siblings? Either way, I love their work....as long as they stay away from trilogies. Hahah. This looks like a nice little visual mind bender. I'm a fan of mind benders.

yeah im highkey pounding at my keyboard rn getting heated, but its really nothing we can do about it razz So how was your day today?

Can't wait for this i'm hoping this comes out as good as it seems in the trailer. Have a feeling it could be the best movie this year...

Stoked to see this, I've always pondered on the thought of what a next life would be life like.

I saw it, I liked it. It's one of those movies you have to go watch again to fully understand what the hell is going on..

It's actually pretty good. I read part of the book and that was definitely something you can't stop reading. I think it's worth the watch, maybe when it gets out on DVD though. You'll want to watch it more than once.

I checked it out on noobroom and I did like it.  when it starts i was a little confused following what was happening but then it started making sense.  It's worth the watch for sure

its about how your actions in this lifetime will effect your next life.  And the movie is played in a kind of confusing order but once you're able to follow it and make sense of it, it's a lot more interesting and better overall

definitely not for everyone tho

i just saw it (only came out here last week) and it's crazy good. it reminded me a lot of magnolia but w more ambition and obv sci-fi. i can't believe this is an independent film (i heard the most expensive one of all-time). i never thought halle berry was that good an actress but i was glued to it even when i didn't know wtf was happening.

i def need to see it again, but yeah, i couldn't stomach the book. the dialogue in the "after the fall" parts alone is sometimes just indecipherable.

"Our lives are not our own. From womb to tomb, we are bound to others. Past and present. And by each crime; and every kindness we birth our future."
-Sonmi 451 from the movie Cloud Atlas.

"My life amounts to no more than one drop in a limitless ocean. Yet what is an ocean but a multitude of drops?"
— Adam Ewing, Cloud Atlas

- The whole main point of this movie is that our past mistakes, achievements, and actions can dramatically change the course of the future and the fact that how we're all intricately intertwine together in one way or the other.

Thus we must ought to work together in the present moment to bring the better, brighter, and greater future that can possibly be happen.

i was reading people's thoughts on the film and one person brought up that it's maybe an optimistic look at atheism, that even if an afterlife doesn't come, our choices are eternal. made me feel better about maybe being an atheist.

Having read the book, the film had a much greater effect on me than it would for someone unfamiliar with the stories of Cloud Atlas.
