Modern day american horror films are ass crack. The asian horror genre is greatly filmed and actually has some sort of meaning to the story. US horror movies are all about blood and gore, pure slasher films. Even though most horror movies from asian country's that are re-made in the US tend to be stupid, The Grudge somewhat lives up to the Japanese version.

yeah edison chen was in it...funny shit

and there was a guy named "takashi shimizu"...lol

overall, it wasnt scary at all. i was with 5 guys though, and we were all just laughing and making fun of them the whole movie though, so it was mainly just really really funny.

The first sucked the japanese versions sucked bleh I don't like Ju-on or the grudge. a bunch of deranged japanese people isn't scary to me.
