For a cop movie, this was one of the best I have seen in a long time. The majority of the movie was filmed via, "hand held video camera". Plot was on point and the chemistry between Michael p and Jake g is true and honest allowing the viewer to see the trials and tribulations of being a lapd cop in south central la. This movie and training day are both excellent movies but differ in so many ways. I recommend this movie if you a fan of cop movies in general.

movie was dope. i heard from some friends that are cops, specifically LAPD, that this was one of the most realistic cop movies out there.
