i don't trust shit that hasn't been on the show. the way katara talked about tenzin being the youngest, it's weird she didn't mention his siblings weren't alive any longer. also, aang was almost 13 when the last series ended and around 70 years have passed since. if you take away the 17 years korra has been alive, that makes aang 66 when he dies. how can tenzin be like in his mid 40s and be the youngest of at least three and his elder siblings are dead and we don't know about it? they're alive.

hmmm after watching it, i feel like amon had to have learned how to take away the bending some how from aang. Most of the important stuff is based on the original series so what other characters could have had offspring that is close enough to aang and them?

do we know anything about sokka's offspring or his wife?

they tried hard in the og series that ty lee had a crush on sokka. all i can think about is the chi blocking and not being benders. maybe sokkas bastard child?

maybe when azula killed aang, it fucked up the incarnation of the avatar, now theres two?

well i mean he could be the incarnate after the last avatar, he could be the son. theres all type of weird spirit shit that happens in the avatar universe

but i like the theory that he is a spirit. possibly? have we seen that mask anywhere? face collector episode in the spirit world?

i read it up on the wiki and they dedicated their training and stuff to finding the next avatar. We haven't really seen them since the pro bending when they were listening to the stuff. Which kinda shows me they aren't anything special. OR at least the white lotus sentrys that were watching her arent shit. dont even know if they can bend.

if that is what they reduced them to, it kinda sucks because they played a pretty big secret role

I think Amon wont be the main villain, after 9 episodes we've seen a lot of Amon. In the last airbender you hardly heard anything about the main villian Firelord Ozai after 9 episodes

honestly if they can finish out korras storyline I wouldn't mind seeing some stuff from a different time. maybe before aang. this is a pretty successful idea so im sure they will keep making new series

tbh i've been lowkey underwhelmed with how they've handled this from a sense of i don't feel emotionally invested in the show as good as it is objectively. i hope they do something new after korra.

lol i feel like you feel that way just because of how much depth we got in four seasons of the original avatar..

this is like the difference between dragon ball and dragon ball z. or zoids and the second zoids with the liger zero lol

if they wanted us to get the same exact shit they would have pushed on with more seasons of aang and them.

The Avatar gets reincarnated after death (unless an avatar dies while in the avatar state); so when Azula kills Aang a new avatar was born. But since Katara revived Aang; the "new avatar" loses his bending.

I think that's what he was tryna say.

But I don't really see how it'd follow; how would the baby; at like a few minutes old know he was spose to be the avatar?

aang never "died". And even if he did, your theory is saying that in few minutes that aang was "dead" not only was a new avatar born, but the newly born child KNEW it was in fact the new avatar and also know how to bend. Also going along with your theory, that would make amon around the age of 55-65 (dont feel like doing the math).

you cant just "find out" you can energy bend. Its not something that happens naturally like the other bending. The only reason aang learned it was b/c the lion turtle gave him the knowledge through energy bending. Thats kinda why i think amon has to be related to or at least known aang before he passed. The only way he could have learned to energy bend was by aang sharing the knowledge with him the same way the lion turtle did aang.

idk, maybe it was so he could be a trump card in case there was ever another "fire lord" type situation. Amon may have just strayed from the path for some undisclosed reason
