Word & that would be a nice twist.

I like where the series is going thus far. Nothing like Aang's story at all, but in a good way.

Looks like they downgraded firebending a little bit. Used to be only the OD powerful firebenders producing lightning (Azula, Iroh, Ozai, etc.), but now they got factory workers full of them lol.


Don't think those factory workers were actually bending lightning. They were holding those sticks that I guess produce electricity, which considering it's set way in the future with technological advancements is reasonable to believe.

And well the triad leader (forgot his name) bent lightning, but since he's supposed to be a big badass leader is understandable.

Hmm I may have to watch the episode again but i do believe they were using there bending to create the lightning considering the dude is a fire bender.

its just a different series that takes place in a different time. like the difference between the two seasons of zoids lol.

edit: and im pretty sure lightning bending can be taught just like metal bending can be taught. or blood bending or whatever

was watching some of the last ones and the comedic element is strong. sokka is hilarious in almost every episode, great characters overall. hopefully this one brings in some good characters.

I've heard some rumors that Amon is Aangs son and brother of Tenzen.
The rumor was that Amon is not a bender and his father Aang taught him energy bending. And Amon was a jealous child cause he never got attention.
I don't know it kinda makes sense why he didnt take her bending while he had a chance. But i don't know it's just a rumor.

This episode showed a new guy in the flashbacks and to me it looked like aang had to take away the bending of this guy

and if amon is somehow related to the group id probably put money on sokka's offspring. him and his children would have been around these great benders for years and it would let them be close enough to learn how to do the energy bending?

kinda annoyed the benders keep losing. like, really, if you are a firebender, how can any non-bender get close to you? they've fought the equalists, they know their chi-blocking/electrocution tricks, and it all relies on getting close. a wall of fire, maybe? or ice? or earth? redirect the lightning? it seems kinda contrived imo. i just think of a 12-year old aang who couldn't yet firebend encasing himself in rock when facing azula, and a 16-year old korra is getting beat by people who can't even bend.

i don't think aang ever fell victim to chi-blocking.maybe that's the difference, that aang would avoid (being a native airbender) and korra would try to face them head-on, over and over, being a dumbass because waterbenders are meant to be fluid but w/e.

idk. i like the show more each week but i have a lot of reservations. they've made the "good" guys stupid and/or unskilled in order to make the equalists look like a valid threat.

i hope there's no midseason break. i wanna see how this plays out.
