I guess what im trying to say is that you cant compare Kora with TLA because TLA had everything, TLA left nothing for Kora to explain. Although Kora is a good series, for what it is, at least in my opinion. If you wanted Kora to be like TLA then you want an exact same story line (learning all of the forms of bending, going around the same main cities, fighting henchmen, learning the same information we already know about the Avatar, spirit world, energy bending) with a different Avatar and villain.

Le Monde Est Á Nous
The thing you have to remember is that the creators didn't have the intentions to create another series after TLA. Since TLA was going to be a one time thing, the creators put a lot of effort into it. It took so many episodes to explain what the Avatar was, how bending works, plus the main villain. The creators wanted TLA to explain everything about the Avatar, cities, and the world so that when it ended there would be few questions left unexplained and because of this they kinda screwed themselves over with Kora. Im sure they only made Kora because the fans demanded another series, plus im sure the money was a nice benefit. With Kora they had nothing to explain about the Avatar or the history (besides the original crew and how they grew up, but this series wasn't about them) so they decided to focus on the main story line, (Amon). This lead to the series going by quick and fast paced, especially since kora already mastered 3 of the types of bending. I personally was happy about the series and how it ended, i know most people wanted it to end with a cliff hanger, but thats cliche. Ending it how it did with no cliff hanger makes me even wonder more about what they are going to do next, since I have no clue.

lets see.. earth has metal; fire has lightning; water has blood; and air can have..... monoxide poisoning? shiet
El Chino : id let claire fuck me with a strap on while im on poppers
but swamp bending is just using the water in the vines, kinda like bloodbending but it's water... and they have that ability already.
sand is crushed up rocks which is already earth. metal, is like a whole notta level.
swamp and sand bending is like the ability to control the water/earth in a different way.
obviously, lighting =/= fire it's electricity. fire isnt made from electricity, now is it?
but lightning/electricity can be caused from fires, as metal can be made from earth and blood has water innit. huehuehue k.
i like the idea of dispersing air.. haha if only.

looool. the first series with avatar wasnt all about aang, it was about everyone else too ... but like the other guys said, they had more episodes/time to deal with and help build a story for us (history of this world, etc)...
i'm pretty sure that if korra was meant to have 4 seasons instead of the initial 1 (but now 2), there'd be more story and development of her learning her powers and what not.. but this is also giving us a view of a different avatar, not aang, and how they grew up learning their powers and what not. i'm pretty sure all the other avatars got their powers all in different ways, this is just another perspective. you think that if they were to make a whole nother series, they'd do it the same as aang or korra? no... they'd probably have that character struggle with their powers differently as well. so yea, dont get so angry... it adds variety and excitement to the show.. and to the little kids, haha.
and i agree that it may have been nick pushing this series and what not.. so again.. dont get so angry.
why dont you guys just wait for the second season of this and we'll see what happens.
