I wasn't so sure about the pilot, but I think the second episode got me hooked. I'm really pumped about this series now.

I didn't care for the pilot that much either, but last night's episode was better.

I made a thread for the show before the premiere but it's probably a page or two back by now, no one seemed that interested in the show.

Oh it's no big deal, people didn't seem that interested in the show before it premiered. I like western type stuff like this so I was looking forward to it. The pilot didn't impress me that much, but the second episode last night did, and I think it'll get better and better.

Yeah I think they tried to do too much with the pilot, like they were trying to fully establish each character in a measley 44 minutes. It seems like it's building nicely though. I wonder if Season 1 will have 6 or 12 episodes?

AMC seems to do 6 rather than pick up the show and add episodes to season 1, that's what they did with Breaking Bad and The Walking Dead.

Yeah but they gave The Killing 12 eps. I'm not sure why they had so much confidence in that show lol (and I'm not even hating, I watched every episode).

Yeah I really liked The Killing too. Only thing I wish they didn't do is not wrap up Rosie's case, but I also understand why a new show would want a cliffhanger for season 2.

Gonna get on that second episode since you guys liked that more than the pilot. I had to skim the pilot after like 20 minutes, shit was so boring. AMC don't let me down.

They just tried to do too much in the pilot to establish characters and get a story going. Episode two was much better.

exaclty. i really want to like this show. im trying my best to get into it. they just have too much stuff going on right now. when Cullen was discussing his past about blowing up some bridge and killing. im thinking to myself "why didnt they film that.

@Jaded. yeah man. id say the 2nd one was the best yet.

and wtf was up with that weird ass sweedish dude cleaning the floor, what appered to be naked..lol. when they first showed that guy in the second episode. and then that scene came up. im like, i knew this dude was a weirdo.

they have alot to work with, era wise. i mean they can go a dozen or more different ways with the show if they wanted too. i would like to see more indian tribe involvement though. give us two sides. overall though ill continue watching until S1 is over and make my decision if i want to return next season.

That's how I watch Dexter now, I just have it on in the background. I like the idea of the show but it just seems like they don't know what to do with it. I mean a fight between the two main guys took up more than 1/4 of the episode...

Yep, that was far too drawn out and it didn't seem to have any significance.

Do you watch Homeland? Fantastic series IMO, every episode has been good .
