Dark Shadows, the Tim Burton-directed film update of the classic 60's gothic-horror soap opera has released its first official cast photo.
Coming via Entertainment Weekly, we immediately see in the center, a more subtle, traditional version of Johnny Depp's tortured vampire, Barnabas Collins than we saw with last week's leaked set photos.
Also clear, is that the eccentric residents of Collinsport, Maine are getting what appears to be a cool update with a top-notch cast.
Giving us our first look at the full cast, we see notables like Helena Bonham Carter as Dr. Julia Hoffman, the physician/vampire-enabler, Hit-Girl herself, Chloe Grace Moretz as trust fund princess, Carolyn Stoddard, Bond babe, Eva Green as the villainous witch, Angelique (who may have mugged Hillary Clinton to get that pant suit,) and the legendary Michelle Pfeiffer looking milf-tastic as Collins family matriarch, Elizabeth Collins-Stoddard.
However, the most shocking reveal is Jackie Earle Haley's look as Willie Loomis, the poor sap who accidentally releases Barnabas from his chained coffin in a botched grave robbery attempt. It's as if Watchmen's Rorschach had a vastly unnatural baby with Groundskeeper Willie.
Dark Shadows hits theaters on May 11, 2012.
