There are a TON of movies/trailers like that. I understand why the movie companies do that (make more money having people think the movie has more action) but it definitely has a negative effect on the general public's feelings towards the movie. Besides this movie, in which the trailer makes it seem like Ronin or Fast & Furious, I know that The Beach had a misleading trailer as well.

I really liked it, I saw the trailer a while ago so I wasn't really thinking of it when I watched it, oh well, it's clearly not for everybody. I liked everything but the Typography in the titles, which was horrible.

I've been wanting to watch this but the torrents that were out had comments that said the ending isn't the same as the theatrical ending and that someone replaced the movie's actual soundtrack with the soundtrack from The Social Network, so I didn't get it.

saw this the other day at the arclight in hollywood and the director and Albert Brooks (Bernie Rose) had a q&a after the film. such a great movie. soundtrack is boss. torrented it the day after and it was fine.

First movie in I don't even know how long that I could watch over and over and not get sick of. Ryan Gosling is easily my favorite actor today. I group him, Dicaprio, JGL and a few others who really know how to pick the right roles (Excluding Levitt doing that GI Joe garbage)

never occurred to me before reading it in a review that the film is like the scorpion and the frog. even the scorpion on the back of his jacket. this and tree of life are two films this year i kinda hated impatiently while watching but i could see myself liking it more the second time.

good movie, but not what i expected. i was hoping for more driving since the movie is named drive.


AP said this in a review: "Thinking back, there isn't really all that much driving in Drive – a couple of chase scenes here and there, staged efficiently, thrillingly. It's more about the questionable choices that drive people – and, ultimately, the ones that drive them away."

Movie was good. I think I would have appreciated it more if I saw it in theaters. Would have picked up more of the subtle character interactions.
