i think i might've liked it more if i had gone in having only known the name of the film. the trailer made me wanna see it, but basically gave away the plot of the entire film. pretty much every scene is in the trailer. that + the critics sucking its dick made my expectations kinda high.

the font they used was ugly. the car sequences sucked. it was slow and there wasn't too much action. the cinematography was nice and i still enjoyed the film though.

cinematography was nice, soundtrack was nice (although the screener has some of the social network score), actual film was kinda shit. characters/plot were boring and underdeveloped. also the violence was kinda quick and didn't linger enough? disappointed.

you know how pissed i woulda been if i had gone to the cinemas for this? only other thing i've paid to see this year is planet of the apes. say what you want about commercial films vs indie/arthouse type shit, but that film affected me and this did not. not in a good way at least.

the deliberate slow pacing of the movie made the action scenes that much more powerful. if you had seen it in theatres you might've enjoyed it more because it would've allowed you to pay full attention. gosling did an excellent job as a man of few words and the chemistry he had with the girl was great.

i'll probably check it out one more time before it hits dvd

Bunch of idiots on here can't appreciate a good movie. A lot of swag through-out the movie, shit was dope and slow pacing was on point with the action.

YES, Ryan Gosling was pretty fucking boss throughout the whole movie. Dude knew how to fit the role of being a total bad ass haha.

Shit this movie was good. The trailer I saw totally turned me off from this (short clip of corny kissing in the elevator right in front of the killer), and the description of it didn't really sound that appealing either but it was fucking good. I loved the style of it.

Went to see this with some of the crew last night. It's now one of the favorites. Great film and a different creative take on a crime drama. Go see it.

I was expecting a lot more action, especially after that opening scene (which was the best part of the whole movie). Only two "action" driving scenes, and one was shown in the trailer/beginning of the movie. Son I Was Dissappoint. It wasn't a horrible movie it just came off as an action movie and never delivered to me.

Just watched it last night and I can't wait to watch it again. It was perfectly casted, Gosling and Brooks were great. Loved it.

I dl'd the soundtrack and it's pretty amazing too.

I love this film. The soundtrack is fucking epic and the introduction has to be one of the best I've ever seen. I can totally see 'Drive' seriously contending for an Oscar and if they do not win then I will be severely disappointing. Great list of Actors/Actresses as well, although I am disappointed by Bryan Cranston's role, he has way more talent than what he has shown in the film but he still did a great job.

Truly a good film.

One of my favorites of 2011.
