I'd say Vegeta. Dude's arrogance was hilarious.

Piccolo goes from bad guy to good guy (even gains a parental role teaching gohan while goku's dead) in the nappa/vegeta saga

Gohan goes from a little spoiled bitch kid to a warrior b/w the nappa/vegata sage thru the freiza saga

I hate how Gohan gets power from out of nowhere without training as hard as Vegeta or Goku. Then he pisses it all away and could barely go SSJ2

vegeta is the much more interesting character than goku.

goku is predictable. he's all powerful and all good, which gets kind of boring after a while.

vegeta has a an evil dark side to him which is definitely more interesting. he used to be a villain so he's constantly in the middle b/w doing the right thing, and doing the selfish thing.

its kind of like superman and batman. superman is so powerful and squeaky clean that he's pretty boring, whereas batman has this dark side where he does whatever it takes to get what he needs (short of killing people).

goku is just born with all this power, and gets motivation to level up from his good nature. he level's up so he can help his friends/save the world. vegeta on the other hand is a natural hater (which makes him more interesting). his motivation for leveling up is selfish and is always based on goku's ability. he sees goku get more powerful and is all like "hell naw, if he can do that shit, then i'm gonna do that shit to".

If I was asked this question at 10 I would've said Vegeta. Now at 20, it's still Vegeta - but with much more reason.

Watch this show again with more mature eyes and trust me, you'll see the depth of character Vegeta had. Plus, he was fucking funny as well.

Most characters in DBZ (bar piccolo and Vegeta) were kinda one dimensional - including Goku. Vegeta is definitely the most interesting character in the show.

Goku was always better than Vegeta. I just kind of like Vegeta better now that I'm older because he was a fucking badass. Sure, he would get his ass whooped by all the real ♥♥♥♥♥s and he would always have to cheat to get stronger than Goku (Majun Vegeta) but the dude had heart. I respect that.
