this show finally picked up! i don't even feel bad for the larsons anymore, impulsive idiots, especially the wife. what a cunt. i know she's greiving and everything BUT HOW FUCKING STUPID IS SHE?! how couldve she been so convinced that Bennet did it? ridiculous. and did anyone notice that Mr. larson's friend or bother or w/e he is was puching a rock while Larson was fucking up Bennet? what was that? confused

cons, i think she just really really wanted to blame someone so she put the blame on the next best person who she felt was so sure to be the killer. makes sense though, you're practically traumatized that your own daughter got killed by possibly anyone.

but omfg. what happened to bennet. there's no way he could live after that. i think the two guys used to be gang affiliated so maybe the other guy went a little nutzo. =/ now i feel really bad.

I thought it was good, it gave us some more background on Linden and Holder, and it was realistic. They didn't have anything they could do at that point; the casino wouldn't cooperate and they had to wait on a warrant to collect the ATM footage to see if they could prove Rosie was there.

I think we've seen quite a lot of character development of those two already so in a sense this was a filler. Also it was a weird place for this episode after some real development in the actual story in the recent episodes.. Still a good episode and great acting by the leading two roles.

What was is that Holder took from his pocket in the end, some sort of a coin (video quality sucked razz)??

i was thinking this too, but the sobriety chip makes more sense, because i think he used the coin to get drugs. unless he got it back confused

Well he probably could have gotten his hands on another one.

Although one thing is bothering me. The cops found Rosie's keychain as evidence in the first episode, but no one recognized the logo of a local casino until the last episode???? Shit, I grew up less than 5 miles from Mohegan Sun and there are people all over the world who recognize their logo.

The Killing's such a well-written show with great character development. Each episode is like a puzzle with layers and layers of clues, I absolutely love it. I've been rewatching episodes online FOR FREE now that AMC's put all the episodes on their site (amctv.com/videos).

Can't wait for the next episode, a TV show with this much depth is so rare.
