The first set photos from the Total Recall reboot hit the web yesterday, but none of them showed Colin Farrell as Douglas Quaid. Well, here he is, being escorted by some stormtroopers in a shot from Entertainment Weekly.

In the accompanying interview (which isn’t online yet) Farrell says the Recall reboot is a lot less tongue-in-cheek than the original Schwarzenegger version. Apparently, nobody says, “Consider dat a divorce!” this time around.

Total Recall comes out August 2012.

i just saw the original and wtf that was not what i consider to be a classic it was only good in a "so bad it's good" kinda way. it does make me wanna see what a new version could be like though, like if they made it seriously
