Trying hard to find dubplate drama, more than likely will have to torrent it if I can't find somewhere to stream it. Do you guys have any suggestions?

Another one is Mike Leigh's Naked.

Not so much teen as it is young adult (there are a couple of teenage characters though), but fuck, that's gotta be the most gritty urban representation I've ever seen on film. It's a must see if you're interested in this category.

attack the block, a sci-fi comedy teen type thing, is comin out next month in the uk, and supposedly is rather good. directed by joe of adam and joe on 6music.

the same people who distributed district 9 have the u.s. rights to it, so hopefully it should be out sometime this summer for you lot.

Fish Tank was really good. it was one of the few that crossed the Atlantic last year so you should find it pretty easily.

more british but not necessarily teen-related tv shows: the it crowd, the mighty boosh, extras, the office, dead set, being human and... doctor who (the most recent 5 seasons) MIGHT COUNT? it's always good when i watch it, but it's sci-fi, so you might not take to it so easily.

Bump. Just watched Shank (2010), it's a film about a dystopian London where it's like straight up Anarchy, kids in gangs run wild and have turf wars essentially. Pretty good watch, not cinematic greatness but worth a look anyway. Oh and Tempa T makes a cameo and the dude who played Trife in Kidulthood.

Harry Brown is decent. Could check out 4321, i dont like it though. Dont really like any of these films, kidulthood was aite.

Bump. I just saw attack the block today...anyone notice that moses from that movie was almost like the exact same character as trife from kidulthood? Like there was almost no variation in general demeanor.
