Although Documentaries are far from any persons favorite genre, I tend to like them a lot recently however I don't know many, so are their any docu's out there that you guys recommend me? Just classy ones that are really worth watching.

damn after watching a couple a minutes i must say this sucks.. bad. A documentary never should be about the (bitch here) maker of the documentary especially not with this type of subject.

A guy, Andrew Bagby, is murdered by his ex-gf. Turns out, she's pregnant with his child. Andrew's friend decides to make a documentary to show his kid how awesome of a guy his dad was.

Obviously, there's A LOT more to it. But I don't like to give too much away. It's really good and it's on Netflix instant watch, if you have that.

Tupac:Resurrection

They did a good job of syncing his voice in from various interviews. It's a really well done documentary.

if you wanna go the drug cartel route..."cocaine cowboys" 1 and 2 is good

the other night i watched "god grew tired of us"....follows 3 lost boys from sudan and documents their experience of coming to america. you watch them see rooms with light, showers, grocery store food etc. for the first time...all the shit we take for granted.

some other great docs

Near Penn Station, next to the Amtrak tracks, squatters have been living for years. Marc Singer goes underground to live with them, and films this "family." A dozen or so men and one woman talk about their lives: horrors of childhood, jail time, losing children, being coke-heads. They scavenge, they've built themselves sturdy one-room shacks; they have pets, cook, chat, argue, give each other haircuts. A bucket is their toilet. Leaky overhead pipes are a source of water for showers. They live in virtual darkness. During the filming, Amtrak gives a 30-day eviction notice

highly reccomend
