little bit of foreshadowing but I see a war between Khaleesi and the White Walker King in Westeros.
They are two totally different entity's vying for power in the realm. But still outside and not in direct contention for the iron throne.
Khaleesi has dragons and fire to win wars, but grants freedom.
The White walkers utilize ice and a zombie army that obey their every command.
They are exclusive enemies, like Fire and Ice.
More telling evidence of the eventual war between the two is that Sam killed the White Walker with the blade of Dragon glass.

I feel like this war wont happen until like season 11 tho. George RR Martin is gonna milk our intrigue until he dies.

The Kraken was mentioned this past episode as well:

Kraken. Strong, as long as they’re in the sea. But when you take them out of the water… no bones. They collapse under their proud weight and slump into a heap of nothing.
What's the significance of this?
Supposedly Theon's family (House Greyjoy) have a Kraken, or Krakens live in the waters surrounding the Iron Islands, and it's why they are never attacked.
and the Kraken is House Greyjoy's sigil.
They don't have a Kraken... Just the house sigil as already stated.

I feel like this war wont happen until like season 11 tho. George RR Martin is gonna milk our intrigue until he dies.
In 2013, producer Frank Doelger said "we'll probably get through to seven seasons". Benioff and Weiss said that they do not want to pad Game of Thrones out so as to wait for George R. R. Martin (who has taken up to six years to write an installment of A Song of Ice and Fire) to finish writing the last two novels. Knowing the broad outlines of Martin's intended ending for A Song of Ice and Fire, and concerned that extending Game of Thrones to ten seasons would kill its sense of momentum, they consider it possible (but not preferable) that the TV series ends before the last novel is published. As of April 8, 2014, six seasons have been ordered and four have been filmed, adapting the novels at a rate of about 0.8 minutes per page

Judging by the book to season coverage so far, there should be three, minimum two, seasons before they reach the ends of A Dance With Dragons. Season 1 took up book 1, season 2 took up book 2, and season 3 & 4 took up book 3.1 & 3.2. G.R.R.M's publisher stated a week or so ago that it's very likely we'll see The Winds Of Winter next year. I'm praying the show doesn't catch up, but I have a feeling that the last season will premiere before A Dream Of Spring is released.

^ hmm, don't agree personally. even though they killed off jons boys and ygritte I didn't really feel anything. tbh the only thing about night's watch storyline that interests me are the white walkers. but I agree that this season has been the best overall so far, which says a lot considering how great they've all been.
I think this is one of the few series that can have more than 6-8 seasons without losing quality. there are so many characters, storylines and questions to be answered, and it's only gotten better.

I think the giant with the huge bow was a nice touch from the book where the Night's Watch basically sat at the top of the wall untouched for the entire of the first invasion. Great sequence of animation as the dude is taken flying of the wall all the way to the ground completely impaled on what was basically a ballista arrow.

This ep was cool most expensive one to date, really showed too.
I enjoy the gritty wall stuff far more than the hoe queen Daenery and her army of simps.
I laughed hard at the lil kid nodding like "i gotchu" after he shot Jons bitch, and then they dropped that big ass scythe cot damn cool

That was such a great episode. Giant riding a wooly mammoth cool The scythe they broke free that they can apparently hoist back up and reset cool The giant shooting that massive arrow cool I was laughing when the oil caught fire and sent the mammoth running and the giant was like "aw shit" and took off after it. The whole Ygritte sequence was upsetting, so was that kid taking an arrow through the neck, but Sam stepped up and took care of his chick.

I don't know how Jon Snow will survive what he's about to do, I'm anxious to find out. I have a feeling the episode will end with him in their camp, though.

I was wrong episode was goat, better than the battle of blackwater. I guess nothing really gets to me like major character deaths tho.
I was so sure sam was gonna catch an arrow too the way he was acting and talking the whole episode. also fuck janos slynt.
next episode is supposedly the best episode they've ever done, it's called the children so it's gonna show what happens to the stark kids and tyrion/jaime/cersei.

They really strayed from the storytelling in this episode...

That last scene with Bran takes place in a Dance with Dragons, three books from where they are now.
I expected the last scene to be from the epilogue this season was adapted from...the resurrection and reveal of C_t St_rk.
But seriously....still no Coldhands?

White Walkers are still just a teaser sad

The second to last episode is always the best of the season. Everyone should know by now that finale just ties up some loose ends and sets a few things up for next season.

I honestly thought the season would end with Jon Snow in Mance's camp. I was completely caught off guard when they opened with that and had Stannis show up with an army.

I wonder if someone will come along and save The Hound or if he really will die out there.
