anyway, was it just me or did this last ep seem kinda boring? there wasn't a whole lot of plot development. it seemed like one of those filler episodes

i dunno, i still enjoyed seeing carcetti schemin, and it had bran being confirmed as legless, ned being pissed off and having moments with his daughters, tyrion and jon, the queen and her brother, wale's bride-to-be and the dothraki guy havin babies, the wall being revealed to be weak. a lot happened, but it was mostly set-up. like i'd be surprised if winter doesn't arrive by the end of the season.

pissed bran is paraplegic now tho. i'd rather die as well.

So far the show has exceeded my expectations. Every one is cast perfectly and they're actually staying really true to the book.

The last episode actually set up a TON of shit that's going to be important later on especially with Peteyr Baelish and the relationship between Jaime and the King and the Lannisters and the Starks. With how many characters are in this series you have to think of these first few episodes like the first few episodes of the Wire. There's a lot to set up but once it's in place the story moves much quicker.

like i'd be surprised if winter doesn't arrive by the end of the season.

Be ready for disappointment. The series is on book 4 now and it's still not winter.

I want to find Daenerys hot but I just feel weird knowing that in the books she's 13 when she marries Khal Drogo.

Trust me, winter not coming is not a spoiler. "Winter is coming" is just a metaphor for bad shit is going to happen. It's not literal. The changing of seasons has pretty much nothing to do with the story. In the books the season won't change to winter till like Book 6 and Book 4 is out now.

I won't give any spoilers but for a long time the zombies are the least of everyone's worries. In terms of the metaphor, "winter" (bad shit) does come. Now that most of the characters have been introduced the next episode should be when everything starts getting crazy.

from what i've heard, there will be 7 books and at least 2 or 3 of them are too much for one season. i imagine they'll have to mix it up somewhat, like sookie's heritage on true blood came a lot sooner than in the books.

i didn't think he looked caught at the end of that episode. it was more like "this is bad, but wtf did i do?" like i he's complicit, as far as he pretty much knows his brother and sister are fucking and from their reactions to bran's survival, that he saw them, but i don't think he ordered it. it was just a good way for cat to get out of having to explain being there.

only 6 episodes left, wtf. i always want more of this show.
