They can raise the dead to fight for them which is why they are so unstoppable, cause every time they cut someone down that someone is gonna rise to fight for the walkers. They aren't contageous like real zombies tho only the walkers can raise them.

i think thats the only way you can kill the wights is with fire

Hell yea I been thinking that shit since they hatched. They taking too damn long to grow tho in my dragon raising experience lol. But remember before she found them when she was in the ghost tower and found her self in the thrown room? I was thinking that might be what it looks like once they get big. Like that was ash and not snow? Idk I didn't read the books so don't beat me up if I've spoiled anything.

Nah b other way around, wights are easy to kill just separate their body parts or hit them enough times.
The walkers are the ones weak to dragonglass/obsidium.
