so fuckin ill. i dunno most of their names, but the atmosphere was IT, like i just wanna see more. reminded me of the more mythological sons of anarchy stuff, but with better execution. looked expensive as hell, and the writing was good, EVERYTHING WAS GREAT.

Missed it, gonna catch the premiere episode in a free moment and probably also pick up the book series. And Zilla I've never seen the LOTR movies but I've read the books and I can't believe that the cinematic version would be subpar.

i wouldn't say it was bad, but compared to this it seems kinda ham and cheesy with too much focus on big battles. but i'm trying not to read books before i see their adaptations, unless they're comics.

obtw sean bean is beyond cool. like he's my new hank moody/jax teller/vic mackey/raylan givens/insert charismatic male lead here

one more thing: show got renewed for season 2 already, a la treme, WHICH IS BEING PAIRED WITH GAME OF THRONES FROM NEXT WEEK, LOL

havent bothered watching this.more interested in the next season of true blood.and i still have no idea how treme got renewed.they mustve had the actors from the wire under contract so they were kind of forced to give them a place to go.

two sides to that, you could say it about 90% of all nudity in film and tv. like if it didn't have nudity but it had sex, you'd be wondering why they weren't showing it. also, nudity in sex scenes can kinda take away the glamour aspect of it, and that might be the effect they're going for.

eta: was gonna post the icefilms link to the first episode, BUT THEY TOOK IT DOWN WTF
