u guys r upset about the disney watering down the films but remember pirates of the carribean 1 and 2 were not so bad and hopefully tron isnt either and those films are rated pg-13 their not stupid....The Walt Disney Company, has had pg-13 and R rated films under the Touchstone Pictures and Hollywood Pictures labels since the 1980's what makes this different?

some updates on this movie as this thread hasn't been updated since some news came out.

the director will be SHANE BLACK. he directed RDJ in another awesome movie called Kiss Kiss Bang Bang a while ago.

Shane Black has said that Iron Man 3 will be different from the first two and play out more "like a Tom Clancy thriller".... whatever that means.

he also mentioned that it will be a standalone and not feature any other Avengers. we'll see if the studio intervenes when the Avengers makes a bajillion dollars.

Some sites are saying mandarin is going to be the villain but will have twins that do all his dirty work. Hoping for him too.. But it's just all just rumours for now :/

that iron patriot costume is so boring. its just a repainted iron man w/ a star. they should have changed up the details a little more. maybe a more angled face or something. they make him look slightly different than iron man in the comics. hopefully its not iron patriot, but something else. maybe its a dream sequence where tony imagines iron patriot to symbolize the government taking over his shit. or something. i hope this isn't the main villain.
