Michael shannon is gonna kill it. With all super hero movies the villian is arguably most important, looking at the dark knight for example. Joker made that flick, and Zod will make this one.

I'm so ready but secretly I wish they had tapped Tom Welling again instead of Henry Cavill. I'm sure he'll do a good job, he looks similar to the past superman actors (Excluding Brandon Routh - you aren't forgiven).

losing my mind at that lois/clark scene in the interrogation room. "excuse me" fuckin gentleman lmao

i read there's no kryptonite in the film. i wonder if superman being arrested means there's no clark kent at the daily planet? it seems like they're going realer with it (superman returns looked like the 90s batman sets but brighter) so i wonder if they'll ditch his secret identity

also the trailer made it look like a lot happens, like i want this to be 3 hours. more excited for this than iron man, welp

Man that trailer got me like

Always thought superman was a lame ass hero with his slick hair, schoolboy attitude and underwear suit, but he looks like a G in this one and it all seems a lil more gritty than usual, got that batman feel.

Also the fight scenes shown seemed
