they're starting filming soon if they haven't already. I was gonna work on the set but conflicting schedules with other movies caused me not to be able to. sad

IMO, ALL the superman movies have been ass. I've always felt like he's just too much "hero" for one hero, which is probably why its hard to make a good movie.

Seeing Chris Nolan as the producer and Zak as the director brings hope. As for villians, I would LOVE to see Doomsday.


Superman Returns was severely underrated. It was easily the best superhero movie (post Burton Batmans) of this generation before the Dark Knight.

I just hope that this movie is full of violence,to make up for all the non violence in superman retuns.

Begins was solid, but not great (Nolan's worst film, but it doesn't mean it was a bad film). Hellboy was gorgeous, but lacked a interesting story altogether. Iron Man was a summer blockbuster, but nothing of value - you watch it once and enjoyed it, but nothing more. And I can't believe you even mentioned Fantastic 4...

Also, by the looks of the costume's style - the dullness, stylized nature, emphasis on musculature - it definitely looks like a Snyder film. Soooo stoked.

The trailer was beautiful; felt a bit like a Terrance Malick piece. Nolan's touch on the film is very apparent with Supe's somber discovery of his humanity. Will be premiering with TDKR this week.
