I recently saw Meet the Parents again. I remember when that shit first came out and it was so damn funny. i even saw it twice in the theater (with different groups of people) and i didn't mind b/c it was so funny.

anyways i saw that again the other day and i was like.... meh. maybe its b/c i'm so used to Ben Stiller's comedy by now that im kind of desensitized. shit that was funny b/c it was so outrageous a couple years ago is so played out now.

i dunno.

there are action movies that have this same effect too. like Independence Day. back in the day that shit was AMAZING! now its kinda whatever to me, even if i forgive the dated CGI.

Well... a lot of that has to do with getting older.

Obviously TMNT is not gonna hold my interest like it did back in 1992.

After seeing Toy Story 3 I re-hired the original Toy Story. I was pretty dissapointed by that - it wasn't nearly as wondrous as I had remembered.
