Right on. This is a pretty based anime. Zombies, blood, gore, and zoom ins on animated high school girls' panties and chests. What more can you ask for.

in a way slow zombies are more intense. the numbers are such that you can't really stop them, but the anticipation gives you a lot of time to contemplate your situation. with fast ones, you can act like they're regular people that you're killing in self-defense. you kinda have to accept slow ones.

also, fast ones are unrealistic in a backwards kinda way. they should be decomposing, not doing things regular people can't. being dead is not a superpower.

but like i said, i liked the bouncing and the brazen close-ups.

Wait... when are these zombies fast? I only saw slow moving zombies who maybe had short, small bursts of speed only to lunge. Which, if you watch the original NotLD, is exactly how those zombies act. These aren't 28 Days Later zombies at all, where the zombies run at full speed towards any sound they hear.

Also, I think the brazen close-ups and bouncing is why I may stop watching. Haha! It's a little too much.

Mm. The anime is new but high school of the dead definitely not. I've read the manga, and sorry to burst your guys bubble but the artist hasn't worked on this in a long time. In 09' he only wrote 1 chapter.
