forgot about the blair bitch, but it's even scarier if youve ever been out in the styx & you see something or somebody unknown then it hits closer to home. I was with some friends drivng a jeep thru some woods and there was this abandoned house-more like just a room, and we saw a blk figure standing in the doorway and heard some shit-now either that was a crazy bum or wtf-next week I saw the BWProject and that was familiarly scary esp the part with the kids laughing @ the tent

Eli Roth is the descendant of Sam Rami? The only thing remotely descent about Eli Roth was the use of color in Cabin Fever..other then that he's completely utter crap....even his interview with Takashi Miike in the Gozu special edition is crap.

Ed Gein is classic. Almost every famous bad villian in older horror pictures were based on this guy in one way or another. The movie itself wasn't like AHH! but it just makes you shutter knowing that this guy really did exist.

Another classic horror movie that hasn't been mentioned yet (i think) is Carrie. I watched this a few weeks ago and the last scene where she killed her mom was hilarious!

I think The Shining freaked me out the most when I was little. When Jack goes into the certain hotel room with the witch was the worst.
