Agreed. You been able to figure out where their camp is? I have couple of ideas but it's hard to get an exact read on it.

how would you figure that out? I mean the lake is pretty big and it has to be close to the city.

Well, I know some of the locations. The opening scene in the first episode at the gas station is five minutes from my house and the tank in the city is around Georgia state university. I don't recognize the lake at all, I don't think it's actually near the city. As far as I know, there's no lakes that size close to the city. I know they were shooting in the woods around West Atlanta but there's no mountain/hilly areas that would match the layout of the camp

Ya I know it isn't technically close to Atlanta, they must be filming somewhere else for the camp.

This was the first episode I wasn't a fan of. Not the whole ep, just that CDC thing. I hope they do something good with that, 'cause, as it stands, I'm not a fan of where this is headed at all.

However, I loved what they did with the Jim storyline. Maybe 'cause it was exactly like in the comics?

5.6 million viewers, a season high for TWD. i continue to have major reservations about the series fundamentally, and lol @ dalek. i think the best thing this show could do is veer away from the books.

in other news, i hate dale so very, very, much. first he interferes with jim's alone time, then he interferes with shane getting his primal instincts on. guy seems so entitled, i wanted andrea to shoot his smug little beard off.

oh, and wtf with the wanton acts of violence against wifebeater ed. that was on some monica belluci rape film shit, brain matter everywhere, fuck.

I like the idea of the CDC. I'm interested in knowing what the guy in there is working on and what his motivation is. I have my hunches, but I think it'll only add more human vs human element to the mix.

I agree to an extent. It's a different art form so it should differ from the books in some respects but I'm just really not a fan of the CDC angle. I hate the "find a cure" storyline. It completely distracts from the core of Walking Dead which is just people surviving. Hopefully, it's just a short detour.
