i didn't get how those guys seemed to know herschel though... acting like they knew he gave up drinking and shit? "they're alive!"? did I miss something?

I wonder if they're gonna use the car crash as a cop-out for the baby, and it will cause lori to miscarry or something. Because if they do have the baby, I think it's gonna kind of fuck with the dynamic and make the show basically about raising a child in a zombie world.


When I saw the commercials for the episode, the first thing I thought was "how do they know them?", but now it looks like they were just surprised to finally see some living people. If they knew Herschel, I don't think they'd have to ask about the farm's location.

i really believe the baby is ricks and not shanes. but the miscarriage is a good thought. idk how far along she is, or even if that type of crash would cause harm to a developing fetus (cause it may not even be at that point yet), but its a great way to get rid of it from the writers perspective.

personally, i hope the baby is gone.

also it's a different world, kids needs to act like adults asap or they be killed.

carl's darkening behaviour is more believable in the comics because more time passes. when that spoilerrific thing happens at the end of the first comic arc in #6, carl is shaken. they kinda did that this episode with him freaking out about his mum going missing then trying to man up later like it never happened. but i think they've hardened pretty much everyone too soon. rick at the start of the books is a good, if a bit naive, guy because he's a month late to everything. in the show he's already this badass. where else can they go?

not as good as last week but w/e i guess.

i think rick will learn to adapt better to this changed world. he still tries to reason with other people as we saw in this episode. but i have a feeling some shit will go down and he will be completely lost in the zombie apocalypse. next episode him and shane will probably have a good episode together.

i dont think we've seen the last of this new group of dudes.

nah don't get it twisted shane didn't have it in him to kill rick either. he had that gun and he went for the tied up guy instead of shooting rick dead. and he could've held onto the wrench and beat rick to death instead of throwing it like a dumbass.

Yeah I don't think he'd kill Rick. Deep down he has to know Rick is right. We'll see what happens though, judging by the previews for next week it still looks like Shane isn't quite ready to back down.

Maybe Shane and the blonde chick that's not allowed in the house anymore will leave the farm and a new side story will develop.
