i can see how ppl on here will still hate on him for not portraying the ever so popular "hard" rapper with street cred and shit, but drake keeps it real.


for real.

And I love dude talking about being raised by his mom, how much he cares for her, and how he is sensitive/emotional because of that. A lot of people(males) I know who have grown up without fathers are the same way.

Dude is being incredible vulnerable in those moments. I respect the hell out of this guy.

I just feel like Drake is kind of in a lose-lose situation with a lot of people. If he's real with everyone and shows his sensitive side, then he's a bitch. But if he tries to act all hard and gangster and shit, then he isn't being real.

I respect him for being himself and not caring.

I definitely respect this guy, even more so after this documentary, however him just cancelling/postponing his European tour makes him no better than any north american rapper. Extremely disappointing. So much for him being real.

i also didn't like how he was complaining about the venue at one of his performances and how the equipment sucked. he actually told the crowd "someone's gonna get fired for this blah blah blah"

it happens.

a real superstar will be able to perform no matter what circumstances. the best people in any job are able to do adapt and do well in any situation, even if its out of their control. they dont stand there and complain about it in front of a big crowd like that.

drake isn't a bitch for showing a sensitive side. hes a bitch for stuff like that.

I respect Drake even more after watching this,and I can truly relate to some some of his issues like being more emotional than other kids,and falling for girls hard. Drakes whole persona and attitude is a breath of fresh air from the usual "came from the streets,sold crack,hardest thing walking" hip hop archetype and that's one of the main reasons why he's so hated.

He cancelled it cause his mom is sick and might die and shes having surgery idk about you but I will drop everything I'm doing if I was in that situation for my mom.
