That's how most good shows start off and then you get hooked like 5th episode.

I thought Dexter was average at first..


I know that. And that's why I'll continue to watch. But I'm not calling it the next Sopranos or The Wire based off one episode.

aint seen it yet, just come in to say it did like 4.8 mil on the premiere, like 2-3 mil on the encore, and hbo renewed it for a second season.

Not as bad as Weeds or Hung though.

Previous ep was not as good as the first two but still better than most stuff on TV.

I think all the episodes have been great. Everything that happens is necessary to the story, none of it feels like filler to me!

Great show I have to say.
Anyone already feel a sincere attachment to the characters? The Agent? Jimmy?
Very dark characters, not your typical HBO series...feel like this is the first season of Six Feet Under (without the gay references...spare the masculinity) mixed with the Sopranos?

I like how this show really stands on its own.
