Okay I thought there was a thread exist somewhere, but since I couldnt find any... here it goes!

I watched 2 movies in last few days that I would love to share with y'all.

Sin Nombre (2009)- Nameless or No Name- Watched this move last night… holy shit this movie is fucking intense and is indeed one of the best movies I’ve ever watched in my life.

U know one of those movies that make you think about your life and leave you thinking? this movie surely is one of them. Watch it and experience it.

+The runaway MS-13 member being chased by his own gangs for his life

+A girl who pursues after better life.

Un Prophete (2009)- A Prophet… this French movie delivers some intensity and awesomeness. A young Arab learning everything from Corsican gangster in the Prison.

Tahar Rahim played Malik very well in this movie.

*The similarity between these 2 movies is that it shows you the other side of the world, not only geographically and culturally, but also the lives of others that we're not so fond of.

Any Kurosawa film. Standouts(obvious): Seven Samurai, RAN, Stray Dog, Yojimbo/Sanjuro, The Hidden Fortress.

Blue Spring, 9 Souls, Tokyo Rampage. All directed by Toyoda.

Party 7, Funky Forest, Sharkskin Man & Peach Hip Girl, The Taste of Tea, Survive Style 5+. All are similar styles.

The Red Spectacles Trilogy.

All About Lily Chou-chou.

Most things with Audrey Tautou are good watches. (I don't watch much French Cinema anymore.)

I like Jean-Pierre Jeunet's works - Micmacs (satirizes arms manufacturers. a joy to watch as a team of unique characters schemes up ways to disrupt them) / Delicatessen / Amelie (as mentioned) / City of Lost Children

Band of Outsiders (Bande a part) by Godard. Tarentino named his production company after it

Wasabi - fun movie with Jean Reno, who's character happens to have a Japanese daughter

Malena - sad movie following Malena's (monica belluci) life through the point of view of a young, horny kid. ps - lots of nudity

Some Ji-woon Kim films- The Good the bad The weird (a korean "western" movie. heh? );
A Bittersweet Life (mob enforcer defies his boss.. gets into deep shit)

I need to check out some of the films posted so hopefully people keep posting more

How you gonna leave out A Very Long Engagement? Haha. Jeunet and Tautou are magic. Jeunet can use colour like no other, all his work is backed.

L'Homme Du Train is a french movie and i swear to god its one of the best written movies i've ever seen. It was amazing.

Seul contre tous-I Stand Alone [French] is one crazy ride... ex-butcher in Paris rage against the world. Like in the description on the link. This man is one fucking bitter man. I thought it was awesome movie.

Irreversible [French] was all right. The shocking scenes grabbed my attentions and stunningly beautiful Beluci. there wasnt much in it.
