RZA will be directing and starring in a new kung-fu movie. it just got picked up by Universal and given a $20 mil. budget.

i'm excited!

RZA has said that he's studied to art of film making under the wing of his good friend Quentin Tarantino

if anything, it should have an amazing soundtrack.

I'm excited!

This should be interesting. I don't have high expectations but hopefully it will be a fun film.

I also heard he's directing a remake of The Last Dragon, with Samuel L Jackson and Rihanna starring in it.

I mean this will be a big budget kung-fu movie from a legit kung-fu movie fanboy. Hope it starts a trend and isnt a CGI crapfest (ninja assassin)

aw fuck it looks like a cgi crap fest. dunno. i need to rewatch that trailer a few more times. the girls are some nice eye candy tho. i hope isn't kung fu sucker punch. soundtrack still looks good tho.

and also not sure how I feel about him starring in his own movie. I think he should have casted someone for it

from the looks of the trailer he doesnt look like the star, it rarely showed any shots of him
