lool that was out of left field. yeah 300 was good. but snyder or whoever made those movies shouldnt have done the spirit. flopped hard. watchmen was perfect though

Ventriloquist would be off the charts cool.
May 20, 2010 @ 02:13:25
I still think the Riddler is ideal for the series. Nolan and the writers could effectively develop a dark and psychological take on the concept of such puzzles. Think...Saw with substance.

^ i guess lol.. but think about it.

some mobster has a crazy ass kid , grows up and doesnt want to be part of the mob. Then his dad dies, and he gots absolutely fucking nuts and uses a ventriloquist dummy as an outlet to take over the family business. starts a whole new intense crime wave for batman to deal with. plus another minor villains or two

I know my bro gon be hyped for this. smokeyface

I would never want to see Johnny Depp in the Batman series. It's such a cop-out to get him as a villain.

I want to be surprised. Remember when Heath ledger was announced? Everyone went WTF?! Then, he bodied the role.

Having Johnny Depp as the Riddler would be as exciting as Tim Burton saying Johnny Depp is in his next film. No.

EDIT:
Wouldn't mind seeing Hugo Strange in the next film.

yeah. the riddler has been done way too many times. the joker was a necessity.. but everything else has been done and been played.

everyone was pissed about heath ledger until they saw the previews and he died. so i think they should cast someone thats not such a big name

lol did you read the comic? people took that movie just at face value

I did, that's what made it so fucking long. It was like frame for frame, and it made me wish I'd seen the film then read the book. I mean, after the initial joy at seeing these characters in live-action, I was just kinda bored. It didn't make me think, "this movie had to be made". It just made me think, "this story was so well suited to comic books".
May 20, 2010 @ 15:57:11
what if instead of the riddler, johnny depp played this guy.

oh, wait...
May 20, 2010 @ 16:06:28
I say we get Batzarro.
May 20, 2010 @ 17:06:51
i think Riddler could be a little too similar to the Joker. they'd really have to reinvent him

Ventriloquist is a good idea too and would def make sense in this series.

i wanna see Mr Freeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeze!

(just kidding...) CHILL! hur hur hur

Zac Snyder is a good at visuals... but not much else.

both watchmen and 300 had some really awkward scenes
May 20, 2010 @ 18:19:08
Maybe he should stick to cinematography. But I imagine once you've directed, you get a taste for it.
May 20, 2010 @ 20:58:01
too bad the director said there will be no mr. freeze smh

Fuck, why did Heath Ledger have to die? I remember hearing they were gonna bring him and Two-Face into the third movie, with The Joker on trial. Then Two-Face's story wouldn't have been so short. But then, he died after the film was completed, so... huh? What's going on, Nolan?

This is why comic books are the best medium. No limits, no variables. None of these "people", messing things up.
May 21, 2010 @ 14:41:25
^ Don't worry about it.

Ledger dying was totally out of the blue, but I'm sure Nolan has some back-up. He's just taking his time now, since Warner Bros needs him and not the other way around.
May 21, 2010 @ 15:03:53
Yeah, isn't that why he got to do Inception on such a big budget?
