marvel kinda implied he wasn't a team player. i think on a project this big everyone except maybe downey is taking a pay cut. also i think norton is known for demanding creative control.

I definitely have high expectations for this movie. So far, it's looking DOPE. Marvel always has me wanting for more movies, after Captain America, I can't wait for this.

Read in the last issue of Entertainment that Downey wanted Stark to drive the film, which ultimately wouldn't pan out according to both he and Whedon. I think they just needed Stark footage for those witty one-liners to grab eyeballs

Also getting the feeling that the movie is going to be based around Stark.. and the feeling that he's the leader of The Avengers, which is what I feared the most. Still look's great though.

it also makes sense for the studio to feature a lot of stark/RDJ in the first trailer. iron man the most recognizable and popular/successful movie character out of the bunch. so it would prob appeal the most to a general audience (not just us comic nerds).

like, little timmy prob recognized loki right away and went "yes, avengers! im going to see this!", but little timmy's mom prob recognized iron man and went "oh, this is another RDJ iron man movie. i liked those movies, i'll prob enjoy taking timmy to this."

ehhh just dont think loki as the main villain is cool at all. thor wasn't really my favorite film out of all of their movies so personally im not a fan. would have rather seen just a different avengers villain for their first movie
