May 05, 2012 @ 01:59
^this. By far the best Marvel movie, joss whedon nailed this movie!
May 05, 2012 @ 04:29
HULK in this movie shits on all the other movies made about him.

ruffalo was equally impressive; definitely shut the naysayers up. and yeah, whedon should take over the avengers writing duties for an arc or two.

*Spoilers*

This movie was so good! The part when Iron Man used his repulsor beam to reflect off of Cap's shield... Amazing. Hulk was just a badass in this movie and stole the show at the end.

May 06, 2012 @ 07:20
its after all the credits roll
May 06, 2012 @ 07:28
in terms of action/adventure movies, ' the avengers ' is probably the best one i have ever seen.

the action scenes were beautiful

and scarlett jo is [smokeyface]
May 06, 2012 @ 20:20
saw this last night, it was pretty fucking bad ass. It's so funny seeing how the Marvel universe is being portrayed in such a campy comic book traditionalist style and the DC universe is on some hyper-realistic gritty type shit, how the times have changed haha

All I do is smoke weed and listen to MF DOOM innercitykidsmusic.com

May 06, 2012 @ 21:38
well i think that's mainly because that is the only way batman works properly. He would be too cheesy in any other type of movies (old batman movies were shit)
May 06, 2012 @ 22:18
never heard of the bad guy at the end
May 06, 2012 @ 23:16
Before any niggas bitch at me, POTENTIAL SPOILERS K

Someone explain to me Hulk's sudden change in control from the ship to the Manhattan battle scene? I mean, he literally fucked up a good portion of the ship all braindead and what not. He then later reveals that he had control over the Hulk? "My secret's that I'm always angry" ??????????????? He's all playful and cooperative from then on. Like dafuqqqq. I still don't understand what happened to all the uncontrollable rage.

Overall, I thought the Hulk was a fuckin badass, and the actor (w/e his name is) did a pretty good job.
May 06, 2012 @ 23:21
To my understanding he is always angry, but has learned to control it and because of that he can transform at will and remain in control. However when he is put into really stressful situations and gets provoked the transformation will be forced and in that state he can't control it.
May 06, 2012 @ 23:32
Wasn't he being controlled by Loki's staff?

Later on, he's in control.
May 06, 2012 @ 23:34
I don't think loki controlled him, at least i can't remember him poking his chest.
May 07, 2012 @ 01:08
Ruffalo played Bruce Banner extremely well. And that Hulk smash was pretty smokeyface
May 07, 2012 @ 02:02

May 07, 2012 @ 02:08

that was a good explanation.

it's kinda implied that loki was controlling him from afar when banner is arguing with everyone and suddenly is holding the staff, completely unaware
May 07, 2012 @ 05:23
I thought the movie was boring for the first 30mins where they are gathering everybody.

But after that everything went better.

I want to see the world burn

May 07, 2012 @ 08:52
just got back from this movie, fuckin dope

For those who did not stay til there very end, past every single credit, there was indeed a small clip.
I don't want to spoil it though.
It wasn't anything too special but it was enjoyable.

i agree with this. i mean loki's plan was to get caught and unleash the hulk to destroy the helicarrier. that's why he was smiling when he saw bruce banner on the ship the first time. he didn't do the chest poke thing, but must have had some other kind of spell on banner.
May 07, 2012 @ 16:10
I'm still gonna go with my theory, and yea it was loki's plan to get caught and unleash the hulk, but he did this through attempting to manipulate the heroes and put them against each other and then with the attack on the ship it was the final tick to set off the enraged hulk. If loki could control without poking his chest why wouldn't he be able to control iron man when he threatened him in the tower too.
Also Bruce wasn't controlled in his human form as he warned scarlet he was about to transform trynna save her beautiful ass.
