My brother was a grip/location manager on this showi used to go n set all the time met all the actors and shit pretty dope i show i enjoyed it and i know 90% o of HB jizzed when they mentioned damien hurst and selvedge denim =)

This show is so fucking boring. It's like too realistic. Nothing actually happens just like entourage but that nothing is them doing ridiculous shit. This nothing is them just talking about how they're doing nothing. So much potential wasted.

I think the White guy is a weak actor, he's kind of hurting the show right now IMO. The kid from Raising Victor Vargas and Luis Guzman are making this show right now.

Its a little hipsterish for me, but I'd like to see where it goes.

i like the show so far, seems a tad more realistic than entourage. plus i always wanted to see vince when he got started, so its cool to see these characters before making it big (if they ever do)

lol anyways i saw the episode on demand, I must say I'm glad it didn't work out like they planned...I think i would have lost interest if they were succesful by the second episode. I'm def going to keep watching.

I think this is why the show's on HBO and not a network or basic cable. The pace means it can't rely on NCIS kinda numbers to get renewed.

Just saw the first two, and as someone else said upthread, it held my interest. I like the main guy and his friend, and the way they introduce people with that snapshot kinda thing.

About the Cudi thing, even though he's not in many scenes, he kinda takes me out of the scenes he is in, because I "knew him" before as Kid Cudi. This was not helped by him being credited as Scott "Kid" Mescudi. When he's talking, all I'm thinking is, "is that the way he is in real life, or is he really capturing that character?" This is why it's tricky for people to mix music and acting. Some of my favourite actors disappear into their roles, but music is both personal and fame garnering, so it's harder to accomplish that vanishing act.

This is nothing like Entourage. Smaller group of proper protagonists -- at least so far -- no cameos, no fame, no California, no Vince, no E, no Turtle, no Drama, no Ari, no gratuitous sex scenes and no current popular music. Only the last one is something I have a problem with.
