the show was bad. Like I said earlier in this thread, after the end of season 1, Season 2 would make or break the show. Shows like Entourage, True Blood, etc had classic 2nd seasons which brought fairly good shows to GREAT status.
How to Make it in America had a 1st season, where fairly nothing happened, and a second season which was "good enough" but not great. The second season was about as good as the first season SHOULD have been, which isn't good enough for the 2nd season of a show.
I know it seems like i'm typing in circles here, but the show simply was just not good enough. It only appealed to a niche audience, which were hype-beasts. YOU GUYS represented were a large percentage of the types of people who watched this show, which unfortunately does not translate into the general tv audience.
If this show lacked the fashion references and had a slightly different theme, you'd see how bad it is, and how awful the acting is.
