Some thoughts:

- Is Cam going to smash redhead or not? The vibe I'm getting is that he's just getting his own place to impress this bitch.
- Ben needs to smash the designer.
- Little girl is major tongue-in-cheek move by the writers. She represents everything wrong with young folks trying to get into fashion. I lol'd at her last line: "Don't think so; I'll be in Paris." Glad the writers try to keep this as real as possible.

Good episode.

Some thoughts though.

They do a great job with the characters, setting, music, story, yet I am still not convinced Ben and Cam have a great brand. Isn't this what the show is about? I'm not convinced either are good designers. Honestly would any of you wear that Crisp hoody? And those designs he did for the middle school were pretty wack too. Just like Entourage, I was never really convinced that Vince was a great actor like he was suppposed to be.

Sorry to threadjack, but it was pretty much implied in Entourage that Vince wasn't an amazing actor. Ari couldn't even answer when asked by Vince, "Do you think I'm a good actor?"

But, I do agree. They're just slapping logo's on blank hoodies and tees. And the logo isn't anything that great.

It irrelevant. How many people do you know that actually have good taste in clothes, or rather agreeable to your standards of good taste?

The point is their ability to connect with other people in the business and 'Make it in America'. Supreme's clothes, if you really think about it, really aren't better than any other streetwear brand. YET the brand represents itself as something to a certain demographic and that makes the brand popular. You think people are buying box logos cuz the design is nice?

My point is that Ben and Cam don't have to be great designers, they just have to do whatever they can to meet the right people (and possibly sleep with the right buyers) in order to make it as designers. What they are trying to do with Crisp is create an image that will appeal to a lot of people so they can make money and make it in the fashion world.

Anyways, episode was good, that MILF was fine as hell, Ben MUST SMASH!!
