I just dont like the show (entourage) ..Especially when they made fun of my man seth rogen...shit is weak. Seth is a lot more talented than most of the bone heads on that show anyways.

Firefly or The Black Donnellys, you can finish up the Firefly storyline with Serenity. TBD ends on a bitch of a cliffhanger though.

The writing in Entourage is fuckin unbelievable, I have too disagree with your teacher. The character of Jeremy Piven would be nothing if it wasn't for his amazing lines, you have to write that shit down and before "Ari Gold" there was no character like this ever.

You might not believe that the content in Entourage is great, because it really isn't...but the reason why it has so much success is because it seems like a pretty accurate and real depiction of that lifestyle but with alot of humour. Doesn't mean that if you don't have high drama stuff that it's garbage.

The writing is genious in my opinion and that style of writing will most probably influence alot of writers in the near futur, if it already hasn't.


You see one episode of Entourage, you've seen all of them

^ ORLY? This is the Dexter formula for each season:

- Dexter is a serial killer that works as a blood spatter analyst for the police department in Miami, who only kills other murderers

- Dexter meets someone who is okay with what he does

- This person does something that puts Dexter's freedom/public image in jeopardy

- Dexter kills this person by the season finale

The End. I'll admit I loved the shit out of it in its first two seasons, but it got kinda old. Hopefully the fifth season in September will be the last, and the new showrunner won't be afraid to change it up a bit.

And I don't know if I missed it, but I'm surprised no one mentioned Heroes. If you're into the whole super powers type thing, Heroes is the way to go.
It got kind of rocky during the third season, but hopefully the current season will pick it back up.

I second True Blood & Avatar. Nip/Tuck... Kinda soapy and goes downhill after 2 or 3 seasons.

Heroes had a good first season, OK second, the rest aren't even worth discussing. Chappelle's Show is obviously good, because, IT'S DAVE CHAPPELLE ON HIS OWN SHOW.

Mad Men... That's a toughie. If you're the kinda person that, when people ask if you watch Lost, you reply "It drags stuff out", or something to that effect, then Mad Men is gonna be torture. I watched the first season, was entertaining, but apparently the pace becomes even more glacial in the following 2 seasons. It's probably worth just watching the pilot; Mad Men is one of the few shows with no equivalent (like how something like Law & Order could be seen as "just another procedural") so it's unique in that way.

I watch a lot of TV.

i have been watching "How I Met Your Mother Season 1" and i love it~

it's witty and nothing over dramatic incidents that i can't relate my so called not-so-hollywoodish-glamourous life. Story of regular New Yorkers in an interesting day. Of course, it's funny.

I have also been tackling with "WEEDS Season 1." I didnt get to keep up with the episodes chronologically before so little catch up and getting the story line clear so i dont ask keep ask my friend when the hell did this happen?

Heroes=WACK...the first season was the best and it was mediocre at best...been downhill since then...

I agree with the above poster on Mad Men...

It depends on what you like...
I'm a sucker for a procedural so the original Law & Order, SVU, and CI are some solid watches. Criminal Minds is a nice watch as well...
If you into some comedy then USA has some hits with Psych and Monk (R.I.P.).
If you want something new try Fringe (X-Files for the new century), V (so far a good start), and Trueblood (easily one of the most entertaining shows on TV).

Cartoons: Iron Man Armored Adventures (you have to get use to the way they redo the story but a good show for what it is), Batman: Brave and the Bold (seriously...check it out)Wolverine and the X-Men (better then 90s version), and Spectacular Spider-Man (the best spidey cartoon so far)

Just started to watch The Big Bang Theory... it isn't impressive. I like the theme and all, but i get tired of Quantum Physics n all the good stuffs.

I'll give it a shot for the entire season 1. I can only endure through this with Kaley Cuoco &)
