yo i just read walking dead 11....GODDAYUMMMM suprised


will this shit ever get old? this is like my favorite series and most consistant in my eyes, i've followed to completion, preacher, y the last man, sandman, and a couple of others like 100 bullets etc.


this is easily vertigos most consistant series hands down, i've yet to pick up an issue where i was like....fuck i just wasted 10 dollars sad


walking dead is amazing

I was reading the trades in England but i cant get it in Japan though so i havent read it for a while sad

Eh... I tend to believe "comic book movies" when I see them. I've been waiting on Sin City 2 for close to 5 years now.

Now, that being said, I'll flip out if the pilot to The Walking Dead doesn't get picked up by AMC. I'm actually avoiding reading that series because I don't want to spoil the show. I hate that. Especially since it's never as good as the book, so I'd rather have nothing to compare to.

its very rare when the movies or television series are actually better than the source material, the only time i think a movie or show exceeded or at least matched the original print was in "wanted" only because they were basically linked in name alone, and not exactly a comic, but fight club the movie was a million times better than fight club the book

Anybody here reading "Criminal"? Ed Brubaker & Sean Phillips title that's been coming out for a while now. Great book, and the back up articles about classic crime fiction/movies are really great. Might be my favorite current book, save for The Walking Dead.

I just read all 69 issues in about 2 days. Shit gets pretty unpredictable, maybe I'm just dumb, but a lot of shit happens that I didn't expect

FUCK, I don't wanna sound like a broken record, but FUCK! The Walking Dead is a soap. I never realised that before, but now I do. It's just endless misery, and I think it kinda kills any story. Compelling, though.

The storylines in TWD are pretty brutal, and yet as bad as it gets, Kirkman is still able to shock me, without it ever feeling cheap. Dude is the best. Invincible is killer as well.

I think I'm done with TWD. I got to #69, and that's quite enough neverending bleakness for me. I like comic books to be fun, and this stopped being fun a while ago. And they really messed up, not keeping Tony Moore.

POWERS is better already, at the first issue.
