Considering right now 80% of Marvel's stuff is written by BMB, he's pretty hard to avoid.

Still up on Iron Man, best series out right now imo. Also on the Incredible Hulk (artwork is amazing, and Skaar is growing on me), New Avengers, Dark Avengers and other stuff. Recently picked up the new X-Factor joint and I love it, the stories are darker than regular X stuff and much more violent. Plus the art is very dark and gritty.

And Dark Avengers is pretty good imo.

So is Batman dead, or what? And how is Captain America alive? Suppose I don't read that miniseries about him coming back, am I just supposed to open the latest Invincible Iron Man and accept that he's alive? What?

They are waaaayyyy behind in Cap: Rebirth. They already release the Two America's One Shot and Rogers has made a comeback appearance in the New Avengers Annual and Dark Avengers Annual.

As much as I love Rogers as a character, I really hope they keep Bucky as Capt. He was a breathe of fresh air.

Read the last issue of Final Crisis.

As per my understanding they're reviving Bruce Wayne/Batman, they've had Dick Grayson as Batman for a while now but some sources are stating that Bruce Wayne is making his comeback next year traveling through time, heh. Not sure if he will take back the Batman's title though, I guess only time will tell.

BMB only writes the Avengers titles (not Mighty or Initative), Ultimate Spidey and Siege...But between him, Brubaker, Fraction, Hickman, Yost/Kyle, and dude that writes Mighty among other titles, then yeah thats 80%...and you mean X-Force not X-Factor...both are probably the best X-Books out...

Hulk is horrible (written by Loeb...UGH)...Incredible is decent...Incredible Hercules is AWESOME...so is Iron Man, Captain America, Nova, Guardians of the Gaxaly, and Wolverine:Weapon X...other stuff really depends on how much back story you want to read to get into the book

^^^

u dont like jeph loeb? he's one of my favorite writers in comics today, i've never seen him get anything other than praise.....ehh to each his own

anyway, whats been going on in the batman universe, i took a break for like 8 months, last thing i read was the final crisis arc and everything or a good chunk of everything leading up to it, did anything come out after? preferably in graphic novel, tpb form?

in the indie side of things, vertigo is still holding it down for me, they can do no wrong as far as im concerned, DMZ & 100 bullets are my new favorite series that i actively follow behind fables, who else fucks with these?

2) Akira live action remake is back on track with the Hughes Brothers (Book of Eli) directing.

February 11, 2010 @ 11:39:31
I've never seen Akira. I probably should. And every new blockbuster-type film is in 3d, but I still aint seen avatar.

Anywho, back to COMIC BOOKS! Does anyone here read Bryan Lee O'Malley's blog? It's radiomaru.com, and there's random stuff in there, some of it about volume 6 of Scott Pilgrim!
