Yeah I've got one issue of RIP, but the Batman/Robin thing is Dick Grayson and Damian Wayne right?


Right, its a really big story arc with doesnt really deliver as a stand-alone.
I had a very hard time finding out "what to read first" or what I was reading, it's pretty much this (but spoiler free):

Batman and Son (you find out batman has a son called Damian)
Batman The Black Glove (learn about an organisation that wants to kill batman)
Batman RIP (let's you believe they succeeded)

Final Crisis (this is actually where "something" does happen to Bruce/Batman. To be fair, it's such a small detail (but important) that you might just google it. Kinda sucks but yeah)

Battle For The Cowl (the remaining robins (Damian, Dick and Jason battle to become "batman")
Long Shadows (first "other" batman comic)
[both above aren't Morrison's work btw)

Batman & Robin (really cool story about the "new" Batman (and Robin obviously))
Return Of Bruce Wayne (do I need to say more)
Time And The Batman (fills up all the gaps between RIP and Final Crisis-explination)

There are some other works you could check out which you dont NEED to read, but tie in very well:

Resurrection Of Ra's Al Ghul (Damian meets his "grandpaps" and stuff)
Heart Of Hush (between The Black Glove and RIP, Hush tries to interfear to kill Bruce himself)

none of the compilations really go in succession of one another unless they're numbered; each issue typically coincides with the same issue of another book.

Anybody fuck wit cosmic marvel? I highly recommend annihilation

About Blackest Night, you only really need the Blackest Night tpb and Blackest Night Green Lantern tpb. They don't really have any order, so read the BN tpb and after the GL tpb. If you want more, go with Green Lantern Corps, Tales of the Corps 1 & 2 and Black Lantern Corps last, who collect all the different minis and other series who tied in. But I really suggest going back to before BN and read the Sinestro Corps War, who's contain in GL, GLC and the sinestro serie. It sets up all of what is to come during BN. But basically you need 2 trades. Hope it helps.

showtime developing CHEW as a half-hour series. smh. the head of showtime has made a point of saying they want stuff that can last long, like how they've dragged out weeds and dexter. if this goes to series, watch it start good and wither in its 18th season. they waste their premium status so hard.

I'm really into the original spawn series,but i havnt got to this issue yet.from what I read in the summary,maybe it was contoversal because of the kid killng everyone in church and then committing suicide.I need to read this issue.
