I've seen two threads seemingly disappear under the same criteria as this one.

Anyway, Iron Man is a vegetable. I thought that was worth discussing.

Pretty obvious but alan moore's watchmen is not just one of the best graphic novels ever but one of the best novels ever.

Haha, yeah! I was wondering where did the thread disappear to. Have to agree, Old Man Logan was awesome. Damn. Last night I read the latest Blackest Night Batman edition. Next up, Wolverine Enemy of the State.

Yes. It is a good read. Blade of the Immortal is also a good read.

Crows and Worst I read on a regular basis. Only thing I hate is that there are too many characters. It's really hard to keep up unless you go back and reread the series.

Anything by Frank Miller is pretty much guaranteed to be good.

Really?

I found it horribly cliche.

SPOILERS

Hero guy retires from the business, doesn't give a fuck that the world has been turned upside down. OH WAIT THEY KILLED MY FAMILY - IT'S PERSONAL NOW.

zzzzz.

And mysterio single handedly wiping out the x-men? Why the fuck didn't he do that all along....

Blade of the Immortal is also a good read.

For starters, this is the only manga I buy in English - cause edo period Japanese is ridiculous. And for that matter, fuck Dark Horse's shitty translations.

As for the series itself it's really carried heavily by the art. IMO it should've ended a long time ago. Now the plot has just gotten obscure with bad guys that just don't die, unexpected alliances and new bad guys who just come out of nowhere. Reminds me a bit of Prison Break.

I still read it ofcourse, but it's just become something I just wanna finish.

Just read the latest issue of Blackest Night. Good stuff. Would be great to read all of the back stories as well, but the only one I have read this far is the Batman one.

Joe Mad's pencil work was far beyond his time. He'd also be a legend if he wasn't such a fucking lazy ass.

Just read Blackest night - Titans...
Nice tie-in to the main storyline. What I like about the BN is that they're giving not-so-famous characters from the past some major roles and has made many non-DC readers fans of the series as well. Haha, they're doing quite a cleanup with the series as well. Can't wait to read the next edition...

What I've discovered the past few weeks:

ETA: That girl next to the guy on the cover? His underage sidekick, Jailbait. No lie.

This one is about a Superman-level "world's greatest" villain that decides to become a hero. A spin-off (by the same writer, but not artist) of...

The story of a Superman-level "world's greatest" hero who decides to become a villain.

Not by the guys who are working on Rulk.

Iron Man (the series; the character is up shit's creek) is on a winning streak. That is all.

Next time on Deadpool:

Deadpool's decided the X-Men aren't for him. He wants to go solo in his quest to be a good guy. Naturally, he goes to Spider-Man for advice.
