Hate to be one of those guys but the show just never recaptured the first season for me


First season wanst that great, I mean the animation and voice acting was terrible in some episodes.
The only one that I really enjoyed was the Passion of Rukus

where else could it go? maybe they should just do a movie. it would probably take the same amount of time as season 3 did.

This season was a lot more serious than the previous 2, but still enjoyable. Hopefully it comes back.

Been on a Boondocks binge lately.

just wanted to bump this shit. Very happy they're having a fourth season.

i rewatched season 3 a couple weeks back and i think it's pretty consistent with the quality of the other ones. there was a LOT of meta stuff like introducing a perfect female character commenting on the show, a lot of comments about the show coming to an end. the whole season felt like the end and it worked in this kinda bittersweet way i think. it had heart.

what i want is more equality with the episodes. since season 2 there have been less and less huey and more and more riley/granddad.
