am i the only completely tired of ruckus episodes? I mean hes seems a little played out to me now. I didnt even laugh at this episode (even though alot of it wasnt funny and it was somewhat serious)

wtf is aaron mcgruder thinking? he hasn't even officially said the show is ending. adult swim are advertising it as the SEASON finale. and yet he put that stupid thing in the trailer and has barely commented on it or what he's gonna do next. i'm confused.

it does seem out of place to have the last ever episode be some 24 parody. but i guess if they announce a movie, it won't be the LAST last.

They keep mentioning that they want to move. Idk something fishy i dont think this is the last episode unless it comes out of Mcgruders mouth.

maybe it's moving to another channel. that would make sense.

in fact, seeing that typed out, it makes more sense than ever. THE BOONDOCKS IS MOVING TO ANOTHER NETWORK!

What channel though?

Cartoon Network's Adult Swim seems allow the most creative control out of any cable channel I seen.

comedy central would be a good fit. adult swim doesn't even let the boondocks say goddamn. comedy central would allow everything but the f and c-bomb. also, they have a better track record with animation, what with drawn together, futurama, and most notably, south park.

plus the boondocks is adult swim's no. 1 rated show. so if the boondocks is being pitched to other networks, it's a good sell.

Adult Swim revived Futurama and Family Guy. Comedy Central doesn't have f and c-bombs (in the USA at least) until their 1-5am programming blocks.

comedy central would be a good fit.

I don't know about that but Futurama is doing pretty good though.

I really doubt they're going to sell The Boondocks to comedy central it's not a good fit. But I know forsure that wasn't the series finale.

HBO would be good the time slot isnt competing with other shows on sundays. HBO has the best shows but lacks in the animation department

But they suck at original animated programming, at least to the calibre of The Boondocks. Also, I meant that Comedy Central will allow what any cable network would allow in terms of explicit content (obviously EXCLUDING fuck and cunt), whereas adult swim seems to be afraid of shit, goddamn, and other words where they could just censor the vowel.

at least it'd seem like a priority at another network. adult swim takes so long to renew the boondocs, it's insulting.

I'm not sure If I believe that. Drawn Together/South Park were the only shows that pushed it IMO. Also Comedy Central gave Drawn Together the boot because they weren't making episodes fast enough.

drawn together had really expensive animation, and it still ran 3 seasons. but yeah, maybe only having futurama and south park currently isn't the best reasoning. can't think of anywhere else, though. hbo doesn't take shows from other networks, fx only has archer, and showtime is very white female.

If a new season is created, I really think they are going to move to a new city.
But if that happens then all the supporting characters would be lost and the show wouldnt be the same.

Already got the DVD pre-ordered from Amazon. It was a good season, except for a couple of episodes, but I gotta say the first two seasons were definitely funnier.
