The Departed, hands down. The best scene is when Mark Wahlberg is briefing Alex Baldwin's men.

cape fear! i'm kidding, that movie was horrendous (which is why i'm skeptical about shutter island).
i want to say the departed is my fav of his, but goodfellas is a very, very close second.

Goodfellas/Casino/The Departed

I find it funny that Joe Pesci ends up getting beaten down/killed by the same guy he beat down in Goodfellas (Billy "Batts")that dude was cool as heck in Casino though.

I never saw much movies of him, besides Shutter Island (which I really did not like that much), so I thought i'd go on some Dutch board and poll which movie to see *which was actually really good*, results where:

1. The Departed
2. Taxi Driver
3. Goodfellas

So, I went to the store to get The Departed. I know a few weeks later results changed and there is this big fuzz about weither or not The Departed was his best. Anyhow: Best or not best, I really can't say, but it sure was amazing. Can't wait to see the other two. Anyone else got some recommedations? Casino? Gangs Of New York? Which should I skipp? Etc.

All his films are legendary, except maybe Shutter Island. By far my favorite film maker.
